Paris Saint Germain, who has already secured the Ligue 1 title, has failed to win anything in the European Football since the “arab money” arrived despite playing an impressive football and arriving at the late stages. The same story applies to the English opponents as they’ve won almost everything on England, but failed to impress in Europe.

Laurent Blanc side has been on good shape this season so far, as they’ve already secured the Ligue 1 title – their fourth title in a row. The current gap with Monaco that sits second is 25 points, as on the last match they’ve beaten Nice 4-1 thanks to a wonderful hat trick from Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Sweden International has been on fire this season as he has scored 30 goals in Ligue 1 so far.

Paris Saint-Germain held a training session on Tuesday (5th April) as they prepared to meet Manchester City in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final.

For the Parisians, this is the fourth consecutive seasons that they reach Champions League Quarter finals – following the knock outs from Barcelona twice and from Chelsea once. This season, PSG has knocked out Chelsea earlier, as they’ve won 2-1 twice , both home and away games.

Paris SG seems to be on good shape for the next clash, despite they’ve got some important absences. The Italian international Marco Verrati will miss the match as he remains sidelined with a groin injury. Javier Pastore joins Verrati as the Argentine failed to pass the fitness tests.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc spoke on Tuesday (5th April) ahead of his side’s UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg against Manchester City in Paris on Wednesday.

The Champions League has been a mission impossible for Manchester City so far, despite the Arab investors has given another face to the English club since 2008. The Citizens have reached the Quarter Finals for the first time in their history after beating Dynamo Moscow 3-1 on the last 16.

Manuel Pellegrini has his main focus on returning to England with a clean sheet, also trying to beat PSG on Parc de Prince – being the first English team to doo so.

Manchester City look ahead on Tuesday (5th April) to their UEFA Champions League quarter-final with Paris Saint-Germain in Paris on Wednesday.

The Argentine manager is counting on Equim Mangala as he names him a pretty good player in overall , despite he’s been making some mistakes sometimes. Anyway, Pellegrini remain confident that the Citiziens wont feel the absence of Vincent Kompany, hoping that Mangala will handle Ibrahimovic on Wednesday night.

“If you have the statistics then you will see every time Mangala plays then we win,” Pellegrini said.”In a few games this season he has made mistakes, which is very awful to concede, but if you review his overall performances, he is a very good player.He has all the conditions to be a very important player here and I’m sure he will improve in every season he plays in the Premier League.”

Manchester City will travel to Parc de Prince without some key players like : Sterling or Fabian Delph , also Yaya Toure being on doubt.
