Samir Nasri picked up a hamstring injury against Bournemouth on Saturday.–

The French man is a serious doubt for Wednesday’s encounter with Sevilla in the Champions League. Nasri picked up the injury in the latter part of the game.Samir Nasri had to remain on the pick after picking up the injury because City boss Manuel Pellegrini made used all three substitutions in the match.

Manchester City have an important game on Wednesday, with Sergio Aguero and David Silva out with injuries. Not only this match, City have a Manchester derby next Sunday.Manuel Pellegrini said:

“Nasri had a problem with his hamstring. I don’t know [if he will be available for Wednesday] because I haven’t talked with the doctor yet, but I think it will be very difficult for him.

“Unfortunately we knew that he was feeling something after we made the third change. If not, maybe I could have changed him before.

“But he didn’t run too much. He stayed in the middle. We’ll see in the next day what happens with him.”

City boss was sure Vincent Kompany will be available for Champions League fixture on Wednesday.

“I don’t think Vincent was able to play after working just Friday with the team,” said Pellegrini.

“He played [for Belgium] on Tuesday, recovered on Wednesday and with one day I don’t think he was able to play in this game.
