In the 52nd minute Messi scores his second, and puts Barca once more into a lead which André Gomes in the 89th raised to the final Barcelona 4, Valencia 2.

Diego Simeone’s men celebrated at home against Sevilla with 3-1, practically ending Sampaoli’s title hopes. Godín in the 37th minute opened the scoring giving Atletico a half time lead. Griezmann in the 61st minute from a freekick raised the score, while Koke in the 77th minute ended Sevilla’s hopes of getting back into this game. Correa in the 85th minute scored one for Sevilla, setting the final result, Atletico Madrid 3, Sevilla 1.

The Los Blancos played a day earlier, on Saturday as guests at Athletic Bilbao. Zidane’s men took all three points from the San Mames stadium, thanks to Casemiro who scored a winner. Benzema opened the scoring in the 25th minute which Aduriz cancelled in the 65th minute, three minutes before Casemiro scored for the final result, Athletic Bilbao 1, Real Madrid 2.
