West Ham United in the play-off finals at Wembley defeated Blackpool 2-1 and fought back their way in the highest class of English football. In the great game more opportunities to score had Blackpool, but Hammers with late goal avoided reaching extra-time and saddened the “orange part “of Wembley.
The winning goal came in the 88th minute, and scorer was Ricardo Vaz Te.
