A big Football Sunday is ahead of us, as many top clubs are returning to their domestic championship following either Champions league or Europa league games this week.

In Premier league Manuel Pellegrini’s men are on tour at Villa Park looking to keep the first place while on the other side, the Villans who have appointed a new boss, the French Remi Garde are hoping that he’s the man who could help the Villains to avoid Premier league drop.

Arsenal earlier in the season in the Capital One Cup has already defeated Tottenham, but since then, the Spurs are doing fine and are on 10 games unbeaten run in Premier league. Gunners from the last 18 games vs Tottenham have lost only twice, can Spurs taken an advantage of injury problems which Wenger does have, and put more misery on Arsenal?

In Serie A

The fifth placed AC Milan played on Saturday against Bologna at San Siro, a goalless draw, but the real Serie A action is on schedule this Sunday as the top four are returning to action.

The league toppers, Inter who  share the first place with Fiorentina are opening the Serie A Sunday’s action in Torino, who lost the last derby game vs Juventus 2-1, while in the same round Inter celebrated a minimum 1-0 win over Roma. And while the host have many injury problems, Roberto Mancini can not count only on Guarin, and while other top placed teams played European competition games, Inter rested ( did not secure any last season).

As for Serie A competition, Juve with some luck enrolled the last two home wins, but if Allegri’s men want to return to the top four, they have to start winning some away games. To say it, it’s one thing, to do it, it’s another thing. In their last trip in 2014 to Empoli, Juve won 2-0, but the host are doing fine currently, losing only away to Roma in the last five games.

Later on the fourth placed Napoli following a series of good results, four wins from the last five games in all competitions, host Udinese, hoping to repeat the last season win, and to keep the Serie A race On. On the other side, Udinese will look to get some away points, which could help even further to move them more to the middle of the table.

The last time Zenga’s men celebrated over Sampdoria away was back in 2013, while last season both teams celebrated at home.

At the Camp Nou, Villarreal arrives, and the games between these two sides are always very interesting, with a lot of goals despite last six consecutive wins of Barca both home and away. Both teams have played in European competition this week, and both have secured important wins.

On the other side, Dortmund not only won in the last five games, but Tuchel’s men have scored 21 goals in the process.
