Louis van Gaal’s men kept the ball possession and without Wayne Rooney in attack manage to score three times which was more than enough to seal the home win. Blind opened the scoring in the 49th minute, while Herrera from a penalty kick gave his team a 2-0 lead. Last 10 minutes of the game were quite interesting as first Benteke with a brilliant scissors scores for 2-1 but it wasn’t enough for the Reds to pull a comeback as only two minutes later Martial shows why LVG invested so much money to sign him, scoring an exquisite debut goal.
