MANCHESTER CITY with a convincing 3-0 away win against WBA opened the new Premier league season. The 32-year-old midfielder Yaya Toure in the 9th minute on Navas’s assist scored an early opener, and in the 24th on assist of Bony he scored again to give his team a 2-0 half time lead. In the 59th minute Kompany sealed the final 3-0 win when escaped Lescott to head Silva’s corner beyond Myhill from a tight angle. Citizens could have scored even more goals but Navas, Silva, Sterling and Bony were not accurate. City with a win over WBA jumped to first place above Leicester City, Crystal Palace and West Ham.
