A few days before the official start of the winter transfer period, the first major transfer in European football is already one. The German winger Julian Draxler is moving to the Parc des Princes.

The whole deal will cost the reigning Ligue Champions €35m, with the possibility of an extra €10m in bonuses. The 23-year-old Draxler who was linked with moves to Premier league and Arsenal, Serie A and Juventus, moved to Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015 from Schalke, signing a five-year contract. According to some reports, the French side, PSG is also interested in signing Draxler’s team-mate Ricardo Rodriguez as a possible long-term replacement for Maxwell.
