It seemed that the idea to sent a young players as the top clubs in the Premier league have habit to do in Cup matches, will bounce back to  coach Wenger, because against Reading, Wenger has sent to pitch a completely different team than the one that played on the weekend against QPR.

At the goal of Arsenal was  Damian Martinez, a 20-year old Argentine youth team goalkeeper, who in the first half was at the firing range.

However, the Gunners until the end of the regular time have equalized and secured overtime with two goals of Walcott,  while Giroud and Koscielny added one also. Walcott, as we have already pointed out, scored a goal for 4-4 in the fifth minute of injury time.
