Liverpool harder than expected entered three points in the first round of the Premier league new season. At home against Southampton, thanks to Daniel Sturidge’s late goal, Liverpool defeated Ronald Koeman’s men 2-1.

Goals for Liverpool scored Raheem Sterling (23′) and Daniel Sturridge (79′), while Nathaniel Clyne (56′) netted for the Saints.
