Match Highlights There was no winner in the biggest Spanish derby. Barcelona and Real Madrid played 1:1 at the Camp Nou.
The Los Blancos arrived to Barcelona having a six-point lead on the table, but with the same difference, in the end returned thanks to Sergio Ramos’s late header after a cross from the fantastic Luka Modric in the last minute.
In the first half Real Madrid was the better team, and already in the third minute was probably “damaged” for a penalty when the referee did not punish Barcelona for a challenge of Mascherano on Vazquez.
Ronaldo was more dangerous than the whole Barcelona
Barcelona for the first opportunity waited for 20 minutes, Neymar broke through on the left and send the ball into the box, but Raphael Varane stopped Luis Suarez attempt. The end of the first part was marked by Cristiano Ronaldo with three shots, but Ter Stegen saved those. Interestingly, Ronaldo had three shots on the goal in the first half, and the whole team of Barcelona only one.
Barcelona took the lead from an offside
However, already at the start of the second half Barcelona took a lead. Neymar fired from a free kick, but Suarez scored with a header. The footage showed that the Uruguayan striker at the moment of a free kick was in offside.
Ramos again the hero of Real Madrid
Having a 1-0 lead, Barca had some changes but failed to convert the same. The punishment arrived in the end. Modric on the left took a free-kick, and Ramos as usually with a header silenced the Camp Nou and brought Real Madrid came back to six points clear at the top.
