Barcelona, theoretically, have only two games to overcome on their way to securing a second consecutive Spanish league title.
The Catalan club plays at fourth-place Villarreal on Sunday – and then hosts third-place Real Madrid in their next La Liga fixture.

Luis Enrique Martinez, coach of FC Barcelona:
“The complication is clearly defined by the level of our next rivals. Not only when they play at home at el Madrigal stadium but also when they play elsewhere. They are one of the best teams in the league. They almost play by memory and the associated themselves in a very efficient way. They dominate to perfection their defence system. I say it once more, they are one of the best teams in the league. And that is why it is always so complicate to play against them.”

“(what lays ahead) is the best part of the season. And if we have reached this far and done our chores it means we are in conditions of competing for our possible titles with winning chances. You have to work hard in the league to reach to where we are right now. We have done that but now we need to finish it off. In Copa del Rey we are only one game away of winning. But against Sevila, one of the toughest possible rivals. And in Champions League we are already in quarterfinals waiting to face Atletico de Madrid. Lets see if we are capable of making it to the next stage. Everything looks close yet still to be decided.”
