The attacker of the Italian football vice-champions AS Roma Alessandro Florence received a yellow card in the match against Cagliari because he hugged his grandmother.

After scoring match opener in the 10th minute the 23-year-old attacker climbed onto the stands to hug his 82-year-old grandmother in the company of family members who were watching the match.

The grandmother Auror burst into tears of joy, but the referee Sebastiano Peruzzo had no understanding for this touching moment, and Florenzo received a yellow card.

“This goal I want to dedicate to my grandmother. She said that she would come to the game only if I greet her, so I did. I I want to thank her for coming to the game,” said the young striker who for the six months was waiting for his goal.

Florenzi is AS Roma’s child, and one season he spent on a loan at Crotone. AS Roma won 2-0 which was their third in a row win in the season-opening.
