Reaction after Crystal Palace and Manchester United draw 0-0 in the English Premier League on Saturday (31st October).

Louis Van Gaal, Manchester United manager
“We could have scored in the second half I think, but it was too much I think, we were not the better team today – so I could not complain.”

“When I see the characters I don’t think that they doubt about their quality, it can change in one match, and let it be against CSKA Moscow (in the Champions League) because we need a victory.”

Alan Pardew, Crystal Palace Manager
“We decided to do a high press today, which is risky against Manchester United, we got off to a great start which was great and perhaps should have scored in that period. Then towards the end of the first half Manchester United started to get their game going which was not what I wanted, but we addressed that, changed our shape to stop their domination in the midfield. We really should have won it but from the results we have had recently it was an important point for us, we really perhaps should have deserved the three but we will take the point.”
