As the transfer market is open, Arsene Wenger is keen to make some moves on January and signing one or two midfielders is his main priority after the injuries problems Arsenal is having currently.

There have been already reported that the first transfer of January for Arsenal is done – the defensive midfielder Mohammed Elneny is expected to undergo medicals to complete his £5million from Basel. The Egyptian midfielder, who turns 24 in July is brought to Emirates Stadium as a possible replacement for Francis Coquelin , but it seems that for Wenger that’s not enough.

The French manager is keen to sign the PSG midfielder , Adrien Rabiot who’s got a £15million price tag. The French Youngster is known for his intelligence, vision and the accuracy of his long passes and he’s considered as one of the most talented young midfielders in Europe.

After being a key player for France U21 team, the 20-year-old wants to make it to the main national team and be part of them on Euro 2016 campaign which will take place on France. Rabiot has expressed his desire to leave on loan or permanent move after the return of Marco Verrati from injury -which took his place on the starting XI.

The good performances of Adrien Rabiot this season with PSG and France U21 has attracted the interest of many big clubs. After Arsenal , their rivals Tottenham are also linked with the French youngster. Meanwhile another derby is going on in Italy as Inter and AC Milan are also interested on Rabiot – but anyway Arsenal remains in pole position to sign the 20 years old.
