African football has always been considered as one of the contributor in world football, including providing top players for many renown clubs throughout the years.

Keen on giving information about the top players from that continent, Gilded1Sports created an interesting video that brought up famous names from Africa.

Sitting at fifth spot according to the channel is former Nigerian super star, Jay Jay Okocha, his performances in international competition always attracted attention from fans all over the world, though his club career might not be super successful.

Cameroon legend, Roger Milla, who also achieved more affection in international football, notably for his excellent performance during the 1990 World Cup in Italy.

At the number three seat is former Chelsea and Ivory Coast star, Didier Drogba, who is certainly well known even by the modern football fans as he has won many major trophies at The Blues, from the Premier League up to Champions League.

Taking the runners up position is former Barcelona and Inter Milan player, Samuel Eto’o who have won many titles during his time at those two major clubs. His career with Cameroon national team is pretty good as well, albeit never reach the success of his time at club level.

As for the number one seat is former AC Milan super star, George Weah, who despite starting out his footballing stardom with Paris Saint-Germain, but certainly reaching his heights while playing with the Rossoneri. Winning many domestic and international titles with Milan along with grabbing the Ballon d’Or winner surely put Weah’s name on that legendary list of African footballers.
