Transfer madness is starting and many clubs work hard to sign the players for the next football season, so it seems that Barcelona are doing the same.
Although officially the Catalans can’t bring any players this summer, at the Camp Nou don’t rest. Barca has acquired the priority to sign Fluminense phenom Gerson, the 18-year-old midfielder and the player will join Luis Enrique’s side in January, next year.
Brazilian TV station Sport TV announced that Barcelona reached an agreement with Fluminense for their 18-year-old attacking midfielder Gerson who made his debut for Fluminense, scorer of three goals in in 15 games.
Gerson is an indispensable member of the Brazilian U20 national team and Barcelona to his current club paid around 3 million euros for the transfer. However Barca will have to pay another €17 million fee to acquire 70% of the player’s rights.
Another Brazilian is a target of Barcelona, and it is the 21-year-old Fabinho, who plays for AS Monaco. The Catalans see Fabinho as a replacement for Dani Alves, which is further away from the Camp Nou. Fabinho in season 2012/13. was a part of Real Madrid, but played he only one game and 14 minutes for the first team, and the rest of the time spent in Real Madrid’s B-team.
